Primary Role: Producer, Sydney Design festival
SD is an annual event produced by the Powerhouse Museum in association with more than 70 cultural institutions, organisations and individuals. With over 100 events, the program includes inspiring exhibitions, workshops, master classes, talks, installations and tours – unpacking design, connecting people and creating meaningful dialogue around design issues.
In 2011 the festival program was presented primarily in an online format through the use of the website, iApp and social media. The role of Producer oversaw online content, engaging and strengthening the design community through vox pops and Facebook and Twitter, largely increasing social media participants.
